NBC Universal, in a deal first announced in October 2012, now holds the exclusive rights to the Barclays Premier League across all media platforms in the United States. The deal is reportedly worth $250 million over three years, according to a Sports Illustrated report, which dwarfs the $23 million per year deal ending this season that Fox currently pays. NFL Week 6 Preview

Professional football is unpredictable, and this season is certainly proving to be no exception to the rule. Going into the season, the Dallas Cowboys, Minnesota Vikings, and Green Bay Packers were all sexy picks among pundits to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl. NFL Week 4 Preview

Three games are certainly not enough to form an accurate judgment on an NFL franchise in the grind that is the 16-game regular season. Three games do give a glimpse of a team’s strengths and weaknesses, however. The first three games of this season make it quite clear that the Pittsburgh Steelers are no slouch.

NFL Week 3 Preview

their 2-0 start.

UCLA’s Espy One of School’s Many June Pitfalls

A chopper skips off the bat of South Carolina shortstop Bobby Haney down the line, escapes the glove of UCLA first baseman Dean Espy and trickles into right field in the bottom of the eighth inning of Game 2 of the College World Series. As junior utility player Robert Beary crosses home plate, the Gamecocks tie the score at 1 and drive another dagger into the hearts of the Bruin faithful.

2010 NBA Finals: Torch Passed in Renewed Rivalry

Whether it was the renewed rivalry from the 1980s, the comeback of a troubled superstar on the decline or the jewel in the crown for a new NBA dynasty, the 2010 NBA Finals between the Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Lakers had all the makings of classic championship basketball. In a league that has seen many of its most heated rivalries die out, the finals pitted an east coast powerhouse against

Binghamton Students Sound Off on Scandal

Coming off their first NCAA tournament appearance in the school’s history, the Binghamton Bearcats basketball team was ready to make another run at a bid this year before a four month investigation revealed one of college sports’ oddest scandals in recent memory.

At 7:45pm EST (4:45 PT****) last night the showdown of the 2010 Winter Olympics Games occurred, at least in my mind.

The newest Winter Olympic Game, is by far one of the coolest. It's called Ski Cross and is basically a combination of downhill skiing jumps and motocross.
