“iMPrint is about seamlessly linking today’s Internet technology to give college students a central location to express all parts of their lives, to stay informed, to let their voices be heard and to make a difference, regardless of the issue.”

iMPrint Mission

iMPrint Magazine: College Life’s Internet Magazine, published from Ithaca College, is produced by college students, for college students, about college students. iMPrint strives to inform its readers of national issues and give them the opportunity to voice their opinion and become involved in the discussion.iMPrint Staff

To be an informed college student is to be able to understand complex topics and relate them to other aspects of life. This allows the music aficionado, for example, to understand how a congressional bill might affect her ability to download songs on the Internet, or the news junkie to know the campus football star’s stats by heart. From Arts & Entertainment to Life to News to Sports & Recreation, iMPrint understands that every reader’s interests are unique.

Beyond providing stories, iMPrint mobilizes information; that is, it allows the reader to become involved in what he or she just read. Whether by linking to a related site, e-mailing a source in the story or leaving a comment for the writer, the reader has the tools to take part in the discussion. iMPrint continues to stay on the cutting edge of seamlessly linking information across the Internet.

iMPrint also recognizes that the college community is just that: a community. Therefore, it’s the magazine’s goal to provide the tools for college students to express themselves and learn about others. From our moblogs to community bloggers, iMPrint is connecting college students around the world.

As part of its commitment to fostering a college community, iMPrint strives to deliver the most comprehensive coverage possible to issues affecting the lives of college students through its articles, features and blogs. iMPrint In Depth takes that commitment several steps further, providing readers with a series of articles, videos, links and live chats centered around one critical issue so that students can comprehend today’s most important topics inside and out.

Currently, iMPrint only features writers and editors from Ithaca College. Soon, however, iMPrint will be expanding to other colleges and universities to include more voices, more opinions and more diversified content. Every month, iMPrint is growing by leaps and bounds. Now is the time to get involved. Make a difference. Leave your iMPrint.
