And we’re off!

September 16th, 2007

Well, another semester of iMPrint has officially begun. Check out our homepage, where you’ll find new articles by Aaron Arm (on taking a break after college) and Carly Willsie (on new developments in male contraception). Aaron and Carly are two of our most talented writers, and it definitely shows in their work this week.
Both articles are informative, engaging and entertaining.

Browse the homepage for long, and you’ll probably notice a few changes from last semester, like Eric Raue’s new column, “Fact or Fiction?” In each installment of this feature, Eric will take a piece of so-called common knowledge (like the drinking motto examined in this week’s column) and examine whether it’s legit or bunk. Know an urban legend you want to see given the “Fact or Fiction” treatment? E-mail Eric at eraue1@ithaca.edu with your ideas.

You also might notice our Features column has grown larger. That’s because we’re doubling the number of iMPrint blogs this semester, so you have the chance to enjoy more content more frequently. This week, the column will feature new blogs on college sports (by NCAA fanatic Andrew Zivic), college life (by writer Jackie Marmo) and community service (by iMPrint veteran Mallory Moyer). Returning from previous semesters are Aaron King’s blog on the day’s headlines and, of course, the editor’s blog you’re reading now. Next week, we’ll be unrolling even more blogs, so be sure to check back often to check out the newest entries.

There will be even more new features in the weeks to come. Stay tuned to iMPrint and the editor’s blog for the latest on college life.
