Secret Service Slip-Up

Six Secret Service agents have lost their jobs after it was revealed to the press that 12 agents and 10 other U.S. military personnel engaged the services of 20 prostitutes.

Rebirth of the Titanic

Fifteen years ago James Cameron steered the luxury liner Titanic on a historical voyage to the top of the Hollywood box office. In 1997, the film that began the illustrious careers of Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet brought in a worldwide gross of $1.8 billion. This was a milestone that remained untouched for 12 years until James Cameron himself topped it.


A Flawless Record with a Flawed Ending

Emotions bubbled up at the Pepsi Center in Denver on April 3. The Lady Bears from Baylor University in Texas capped a perfect 40-0 season, defeating Notre Dame 80-61 in the NCAA Championship game. However, the fame and glory did not last long: less than a week after the Lady Bears won the national championship, the NCAA discovered “violations” by both Baylor basketball teams.


Eye-candy for the Spring Shoe Addict

Along with the sunshine and warm breezes of spring come sundresses, lazy days spent outside on the campus lawns, and — of course — the annual mourning of snow-soaked Ugg boots, crusted with parking lot salt and memories of frigid walks to class.

Failure to Intern

Kyle O'Conner wakes up at six in the morning and heads for the train station where he takes the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway to the Chicago Union Station. From the station, he walks a mile heading for State Street where he gets on the 136-bus route and proceeds to his final destination, the John G. Shedd Aquarium in Chicago, Illinois. His total travel time is 45 minutes.
